A big thank you to everyone who came to see us at Crufts 2022 last week. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!

PowAir Tips for your new Puppy!
House Training and Urine Stains…
During the puppy training stage, puppy pads can assist in keeping ‘accidents’ confined to one area, making for easier cleaning. Nonetheless, we know that accidents are sometimes inevitable! Because organic odours are primarily made up of biological molecules, only an enzymatic based cleaner will suffice. Enzymatic cleaners are non-toxic cleaning agents which break down any odourous volatile organic compounds; removing the need for harmful chemicals and other toxic agents within the home or workplace; great news for those of us with kids and pets, who we find are generally more at risk around harmful chemicals. With that being said, it’s important to choose a high-quality enzymatic cleaner; particularly taking into consideration the percentage of bacterial enzyme within the product. PowAir Urine & Odour spray has one of the highest counts compared to similar products on the market, and is completely safe to use around your family and your pets. Perfect to eliminate urine odours!
Another PowAir product that can be invaluable is the PowAir block, if you are crate training your puppy from an early age, keeping a PowAir block in the vicinity will prevent odours building up in the room. However, due to the container, we would advise keeping the PowAir block out of reach of your puppy to prevent any chewing of packaging!
Burying Food…
A favourite trick for some puppies is burying things, especially snacks and treats. Occasionally you may come across pieces of puppy food hidden behind curtains, underneath the cushions on your sofa, or even in your bed! If not found within a few days these can really begin to smell and the fabrics surrounding the food will need to be treated to eliminate any deep-seated odours. PowAir have the perfect product for this situation in PowAir Penetrator.

Rolling in things that smell bad…
if you find that your puppy enjoys rolling in all manner of strange things whilst out walking, you’ll no doubt have discovered just how bad fox faeces can smell! One of the most difficult aspects of owning a puppy is trying to control them once back at home to prevent them from spreading any contaminants throughout your house.

Wet dog smell…
In order to prevent your dog’s skin from dehydrating, oil collects on both the hair shafts and follicles. Once the coat becomes wet, the oil mixes with the water along with naturally occurring microbes, leading to the unpleasant ‘wet dog’ smell.
Whilst the cause itself is non-preventable, the good news is that you can tackle the resulting smelly odours.
